Comps/Jams
Great Lakes Flatland Jam #4
Write Up By: Dane Beardsley

On my way to the jam I was just thinking about the past great lakes flatland jams. They have been going on for about 2 years or so. We have had some low turn out jams and we have had some hurricane wind jams. But nevertheless they have always been a good time for myself. This was the 4th GLFJ that was held on May 5th in Livonia, MI and the weather was perfect. Once I showed up there was already about 15 people there. I think this had to have been the biggest jam so far. At one point during the day I counted heads and there was 27 people there and to think one of our jams only had like 10 people. It was awesome to see a good amount of riders. The scene in Michigan is slowly starting to grow and that is the main objective for me to put on these jams is to help everyone meet each other and hang out.

Most of the people who have showed up in the past showed up this time as well. Josh Evens, Brandon Fenton (BF), Aaron Frost, Dan Warner, Jon Dudzinski, Craig Lammers, Quinn Bonnet, and many others. And all I can say is that everyone is getting a lot better. The level of ridding at this jam was awesome. The weather was awesome. The jam was awesome. THE END. To everyone who did not come to the Great Lakes flatland jam you missed out.
