Nirve
Switch Frame
Review By: Jon Dudzinski

I had been riding a street frame on flatland for a little less than 2 years before I got my Nirve. Obviously, the differnce between the two frames (a Hoffman Deebo was my old frame) was a very big one. After only one day with my new bike, I fell in love with it.

Perhaps the biggest feature that made a differnce was the weight. The Switch only weighs 6 pounds. That's less than a pound heavier than a Quamen Clad. With a lighter frame, manuevering is a lot easier and you become less tired and sore when riding a light frame vs. a heavier one. Another thing on the Nirve is the short back end which makes back wheel tricks flow smoother. The chain stay is only 13.25 in. and the top tube is 18.75 in. making the Switch one of the shorter frames out. The frame feels very solid with it's five year warrenty and excellent quality. The bike comes with a built in seatpost clamp and a seatpost (similar to the Primo Rod) included free. If you had to make a guess, how much would you say this thing costs? About $300 maybe? Think again, get it for $224.99 from flatlandfuel.

In the end, this is a great frame if you're running on a budget, or even you aren't. For that price and that quality, I don't see why you'd go for anything else.
